Back to reality

“Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t, so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.”

Can’t wait for the latter part of the above to become reality…

So this weekend we headed to Mpumalanga for Mr C’s aunt’s birthday.  It was just Friday to Sunday but somehow felt longer.  When we neared our complex in Johannesburg, it seemed like I hadn’t seen those roads for weeks.  Even though I took my laptop and tried to get some work done for rebel ink clients and put up my Liebster nominations, it feels like I was a little distanced from reality.  Maybe it was just me missing my adsl connection and having to “rough it” with a 3G modem, then run out of free usb ports and eventually use my phone as a hotspot…

Now that I’m back, there’s no excuse to procrastinate.  There’s a backlog of work that demands my attention and so many other loose ends to tie up.  Being an entrepreneur while still working full time is an art that I have yet to master.  Just when I’ve crossed something off my list there’s a new one to take it’s place.  If anyone has any tips on making it work without feeling like you’ve been running a marathon every day for the past few months….I’m all ears.
